Happy New Year and stuff
Jan. 2nd, 2011 04:49 pmHappy Year and all that; though sorry about being a day late, weather's been bad and my connection has been a tad messed up for the past few days.
Sorry for not posting anything on here in forever; it was partially nothing really going on around here and sometimes forgetting I have this journal. I'm still carrying on with my usual stuff though; drawing, working on my writing (both of which you can see on my DA page) and messing around with different games.
Lets see some stuff I've done since I last posted;
-Finished up Final Fantasy 5 (GBA version): While still not my fave FF it's still a pretty fun game. It's one of the games with a job system; there's quite a few jobs and some are pretty fun, but some don't seem very useful at times. The story seems rather light at times (possible because of the focus on the job system) but it's a nice story I thought, though at times it seems to be almost parody of the usual FF story. It has some good/interesting characters and the main villain is memorable I think, and one of his henchmen even more so. All in all I enjoyed the game and would reccomend it if you like the 'old-school' Final Fantasys.
I been messing around with other games, some of my old ones and some of my newer ones, but I haven't finished any others since FF5 yet =P heh
-Went down to Reno for Thanksgiving to visit relatives and stuff. Quite a drive from where the family and I are living here in Oregon, abuyt ten hours of driving at least.
-Went back down to Reno for Christmas. Though we went down there a week early this time; my cousin that we stay with while visiting down there broke her ankle and she asked if we could come up a bit earlier so we could help decorating, shopping and other stuff. So I spent my time down there decorating, driving my cousin around to finish up shopping, drawing and watching movies. Had a big dinner on Christmas and the day after went and saw 'Tron: Legacy' (which I enjoyed) and then came back up here on Tuesday.
And now for some links to some of the art and writing I've done since my last post;
=First up is a pic with my Kim Possible OC Drago and Blackbird's (a pal of mine) Kim Possible OC Shin, they could be considered sort of cross-dimensional siblings actually. Anyway here they are after they've been fighting over the TV remote for awhile and someone's walked in and sees them in a position that may look like they're up to something else.

=Drago on the job, this time he's a bodyguard to a business woman named Maria. However to get her out of danger when some thugs burst into her office Drago had to find a quick alternate escape route.

=A pair of Blackbird's OCs the superheroines UltraGirl and Siren; Ultragirl has a similar powerset to Supergirl (though she's not a Kryptonian) and Siren is a young vigilante that started out in Gotham. In this pic the two of them are dressed-up nice in some evening wear.

Well I think that's all I'll post for now, I'll do my best to try and post a bit more often so that this journal just isn't sitting inactive for monthes at a time.
